Lay’s displays DOOH augmented reality display at the Vaguada mall in Madrid

The potato chip brand Lay’s teamed up with Grand Visual that lets customers take soccer-theme selfies for a ‘cheer of champions’ campaign.

Customer’s can select the Lay’s package design that will appear on their t-shirt in their favourite team’s colors. Then add animations like beards, bows, and face paint. The display layers the picture in a way that the customer is wearing their team’s t-shirt in the stadium. Users can then share these in their social media posts and profiles.

Grand Visual used a digital 6-sheet and touchscreen software to craft the display and also integrated motion tracking, facial recognition and augmented reality software.
